transmission Info
I have a 88 F-150 4x4 with a manual transmission and I need to replace it with a automatic. Has anybody every done this or know if there will be any problems (ie drive tran, tranfer case, bell housing, etc.)?
Also I have seen a lot of talk about the C6 and AOD trans, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the 2? I plan on useing the truck mainly for off road aplications.
