I have a 00 4.6 V8 and have done alot to increase my intake capabilities, but now I am looking to open up my exhaust a little. The problem is, I use my truck for hunting alot and don't want a loud exhaust. I simply want the performance of the exhaust. I would like to keep the sound close to a stock sound, although it can be somewhat louder, but I don't want to hear it in the cab. I would apreciate any suggestions on products that would fit my needs. Thanks
5"x8" oval universal muffler
4" oval
5" Street series
And a couple others I forgot. I cant remember how many different exhausts I have been through on my truck. Its a sickness
I was happy with them all. The oval sounded a little more mellow than the others.
how about going with some really long thrush glasspacks...theres a certain length you can get that will be pretty close to stock, like somewhere around 40 inches??? but make sure they are thrush glasspacks because those are generally quiet in the first place
Well, I think I have reached a verdict. It seems like the Gibson Swept Side is a perfect fit for my needs. Performace gains, yet quiet. Hey, thanks guys for your input.
