Ford F350 vs. Dodge Ram 3500

I'm sure everyone knew this was coming someday- Ford F350 Crew next to a Dodge Ram 3500. Again, striking differences between the two designs.

Any one paying attention to the size of the windsheild on the Ford? In both picks (Dodge and chevy), it really jumps out and grabs me. I'd personally take a chev over the Dodge, but again that's just me.

I dont get it. the one on the right looks like a hogs nose. Ya know ford has been working on that look for a long time if you look back.I think dodge there jumped in and bam there it is than called it there own, while ford just kept going with there plan.
that ford looks so sharp.

I personally find that massive chrome bar that runs down the middle of the Dodge grill rather repulsive.
Its just a little bit too agressive.
I think the Ford stikes a good balance between conservative (GM) and agressive (Dodge).

I liked the last bodystyle Dodge...a lot. I'm struggling with this one.

I respectfully disagree. Dodge started that big grill look in '94(?) Ford then came out with their version in '99. Ford was accused by many of "borrowing" from Dodge.

The latest Dodge look is as controversial now as it was in '94.

On a subjective note, I really took some time to get used to the Ford look in '99. I thought the older truck was better looking.

BigF350, it's obvious that grill on the Dodge is there to scare away vampires.

you're not alone there. The '92-'97 F-series is still my favorite Ford bodystyle.

I am stuck on the 67-72 body style.

In the case of the Dodge, I like the look of the 05 Laramie grille (Prettier than the one pictured). I would have to say, both of the trucks pictured are absolutely hideous, however I like the look of the Dodge better than the Ford. It's the lesser of the two evils. You see, I don't necessarily base the look of the truck on whether or not it has a blue oval in the middle of the grille. But for New pickups my Favourite is the 92-97 Ford. After that I kinda lost interest because of how ugly they got.
I guess it doesn't matter anyway, I am never buying any pickup newer than 72, and it has to be Ford. As a Man who just turned 20, it sounds like my old trucks have quite a haul ahead of them before they're through.

I too am a big fan of the 92-97 style on the Fords. I loved the 94-02 Ram styling, and I love the new Ram. Took a while to get used to though. The new SD are nice. IMO it could use a little refinement on the grill. Other than that, it would be a pleasure to own either of these two stellar rigs.

Best as always.

The problem with the Dodge is IMO the slop of the windshield. If it was more vertical it might look good.

Ditto, I am a Dodge guy from way back and tried and tried to like the new body when it came out but just couldnt. I like the 92-93 Ram's, especially the 12v cummins, and the second gen body also, just not this new one. So I bought an Excursion. I like the Super Duty's much better than the new Dodge or Chevy. My cousin has a 00 GMC 2500HD with the 6.0 gas, and he really doesnt like it, he has had lots of problems with it. His dad on the other hand bought a 00 GMC 3500HD with the 6.0gas on the same day and has had zero problems with his.
My 96 Ram is for sale right now, I hate to part with it because its actually been a very problem free solid truck, but I need the money.
