New 6.0 Recall!!!
Just a little FYI:
Just got back from the dealer, still trying to get my truck fixed, or bought back. I expressed my sincerest displeasure with this whole scenario with my truck. The SM, new to his job, and coming from the other side, (previously one of the top 6.0 diesel techs in the region) told me about a recall that ford and the feds will be announcing in the near future. Something to do about a stuttuer and stumble on the 6.0 trucks. He was not sure exactly what years will be covered, or, for that matter what exactly the recall will entail. He just relayed the info that some of my problem may be this problem rearing its fangs. My truck will go in again next week and he will contact ford for details as to the recall. His explanation for the delay in issuing the recall has to do with getting parts lined up for the vehicles in question. Ford is dragging their feet and uncle sam is pushing NOW.
