Replace all seals and bearings. Order new gear set. Order new axles. replace kingpins. Fill with fluid. I think that is pretty complete.

Order a master setup kit from a good vender, I believe the inner tube seals aren't in the kit, you'll have to order them seperate. BCA bearings part# SBK4 will net you an inner&outer axle seal, seal spacer, and spindle bearing along will the metal flange that rusts away. Get new balljoints as most Dana 44s being used for 4x4 swaps don't have kingpins. New spicer ujoints and a little paint should do it.

Inner tube seals? Dont you just patch them? Actually, I bought a kit off ebay that had them. As far as the u-joints, they are worth the $$ because it sucks to take the axle apart again to change them. And yes, the paint is necessary. Look in my gallery if you don't believe me

how the hell do u remove the u-joints from the axleshafts? its got like a big mushroom head on it and no visible clips. i tried using my ball joint press but all this did was snap the cap off and im not sure if this cap was part of the ujoint or th axleshaft. does anyone have a procedure or website for removing these things?

the clips are on the bottom of the cap instead of the top. and they are C-clip and not the pretzel looking ones

Yeah, and I removed mine by smacking a 3/4" socket with a sledge to remove them.
