Any of yall know anything about the series 97 or rock crawler wheels in general? I am looking for some cheaper wheels to put on an old truck of mine and wondering how these things hold up/ look/ pro's and con's, and all those boring details. Any coments would help.
I dont know what series they are, but i have some rockcrawlers on my 76 2wd F-150, i know i know, they werent meant to have street tires on them, but they make my 76 look great....take a look.....
They are a good rim, and benefit of steel is that if you bend them on the trail grad the nearest BFH and 2x4, or a cresent if the tire is remove and bend it back.
well hello my fellow Georigian... its good to see more ppl from my home state chiming in on the offroad board!
i have had a couple of sets of AR767's (american racing) and i love them esp for a trail truck. the only downside to them is the weight of steel is pretty heavy. but it is quite easily fixable on the trail as mustange pointed out. not to mention i think the glossy black looks awesome and is easy to touch up if it gets scratched.
