OK. I think I have a carb problem that I need help with.
I have a 70 with a 2 barrel Motorcraft carb, with an electrical choke. When I am at full throttle the motor kind of stutters, especially when the motor is is barely warm. If the chock was out of adjustment, would it cause this as well as hard starting?
Are there any better alternatives to the Motorcraft carbs?
Jasonbrod: your carb is pretty good if you get it set up. I haven't touched mine nor did the previous owner who had the truck for about 5 years.
ONE note: they say most carb problems are really ignition problems so make sure everything is firing like it should.
