1999 psd intermitent stall
HI, this is the first time it has happened but , while in operating temp going about 35 the truck suddenly lost power, no response when I hit the accelerator for a couple of seconds ,then went back to running normally ,can anyone help me on this ? Id like to nip this in the bud. THANK YOU FOR ANY RESPONSES.

Lumberman, the cps is the cam position sensor. It basically controls the camshaft timing. Standing in front of your truck the sensor is on the face of the engine at about 10 o'clock right behind the fan. You can only get to it by laying on the ground and looking up. Its held in by one 10 mm bolt and the is a wire connector going into it. I got mine at an international dealership yesterday for about 85 bucks and took me less than 30 minutes to install it.
