does anyone know what other engine might bolt up to a 1965 f250 with a 352?

You can use a 332, 360, 361, 390, 391, 410( Merc ) or 428 ( hard to find ) in place of a 352. All are direct drop in motors. The 361 and 391 are in larger series trucks.

FE motors aren't as plentiful in this area. If you want more out of the 352, you can change crank, rods, cam and get a 390 out of it easily.

or just keep it cool and rebuild the 352 you see tons of 390's but it is always cool to see just a nice 352.

Yep, You can look under the hood of my truck, I can tell you it's a 390, and because it has a 4 barrel, headers, etc. you'll believe me. You can't tell the difference by looking.
