Maximum Tire Size??

My husband has an 1999 F-250 Super Duty/Super Cab 4X4 Lariat.

I am planning on buying him new tires for his birthday. Does anyone know the maximum size I can put on the truck?

It currently has stock wheels with LT235/85R16/E tires, which even though they are the correct tire for the truck... they look way too small for the beast!!!!

I went with 285/75/16. You can also go with 305/70/16. These 2 tire sizes should be ok with the stock rim.
