Daystar or Skyjacker

I just got a quote from a trucks accessories store on 2.5" leveling kit for my 04 SCrew 4X4. They keep two kits in stock, Skyjacker and Daystar.

I plan to do some research on both and knew this would be the best place to start. Daystar is slightly cheaper but not enough to make a difference.

Any suggestions on which to go with would be appreciated.

Are you looking at the Skyjacker spacer kit or the 3" lift. If its the spacer, skyjacker loves there products so that me be some of the reason. If it is for the 3" kit then you get a little more. For starters you get front shock and new longer coil springs as well as a 1/2" to 1" add a leaf for the rear since it is a little taller. The advantage to the 3" kit in my mind is that it will set you rig out a little from those that are just leveled and in addition you get a spring that is dialed in for that length. When you put in a spacer you compress the spring placing it in the stiffer part of its compression range so it will be a little stiffer than what you originally bought but then again it is a lift kit. I personaly am thinking about the 3" kit...just saving cash. It is about 500.00 and install will be a little more due to the rear.

It's strictly the spacers kit. All total it was only going to cost me just over 300.00

I have the skyjacker 2.5 leveling kit when I ordered it I asked about the daystar and the guy at the shop told me that the sky jacker was manufactered by Daystar.
