Rear axle ID
Got my electric speedo calibrated and found that I can do 60mph at around 2100 rpms with 33" tires. Not sure if I have a 3.55 or 4.10 now. The door sticker just says a 35 for the axle id. Whats the average speed @rpm for a ZF5 with a 3.55.
Also wondering if it is safe to Lincoln Lock (weld) the rear end gears on the Sterling 10.25". I do pull a gooseneck every once in a while but wanted some more wheels spinning in the slick stuff.

Code 35=4.10.Welding the gears will cause you big headaches as well as big $$$$.Welding may be ok for strictly dirt,however the rear wheels do like to rotate at different speeds when cornering,this is when stuff starts breaking.Try looking around for a LS rear end or check out the after market locking units.
