Changed thems Plugs

The V-10 had 106,000 miles on it and after all the talk about spitting plugs, I took to changing them this afternoon.

That one in the back on the passenger side is a real dog.

Now here's a question for the mechanical minded:

Ford says they should be tourqued to 9-14 ft/lbs. They're out of their mind! No wonder the things blow out. You know how loose that is?

Hay, I had to tighten them just a bit more... snug then a little more. Am I nuts, or what? It really stinks trying to tighten a stell plug in an aluminium head.

Someone, please tell me if I did the right thing. The old ones were original; quite tight with no sign of rust or loseness.

Will I be sorry?

Clem
