Electric Supercharger?????
just surfing the net and found somebody selling the bluseprints for and electric supercharger. anyone bought these plans or have any comment? thought if a person could even boost to 2 psi its better than drafting 2 hg? am i right or outta my mind?

me and my buddies came a cross that a week or so ago and had the same q i asked around a couple of guys from diff car clubs that i know and the 2 psi is bull it might give you better gas milage but thats all and theres a comp that takes the alum housings and bolts 3 starters to it to make an electric up to 30 psi but the amount of power to do this is not worth it

Actually, it doesn't give you better gas mileage, and you don't get 2 psi.
But if you really want to buy such a thing, I'll sell you a computer fan for $29.95, $30 cheaper than their prices.

that's kinda what i thought. it seemed implausable that an electric fan could produce boost, when it takes a centrifugal charger the right pitch on the vanes and (i'm guessing) 30,000 rpm! Any way i still would rather not give anyone my money,(that's why i was looking at a $100 superchargers!) but i could write you a check, yeah a check........

500CFM doesn't really mean anything, as it isn't able to compress the air.
