Welcome Tom, you'll find allot of very helpful people here with much information to share. I was thinkin though, Trifordguy would be a better name.
Mike
As Mike already mentioned, you've found the best and most helpful group of guys and gals on the Internet when it comes to these old Ford trucks. Some are a little crazy, some are a little slow, and some are just plain nuts. They'll all do their best to answer any questions you have and help you out.
You'll probably get a few digs for your username, but as long as you're here to talk about Ford trucks, you'll be OK. Everybody gives as well as they take and it's pretty much a family atmosphere. If you prefer, you can get a different username now and you won't really miss any posts you've made since you're just starting out.
The reason I have this screen name is prior to working on a 1954 Ford F100 which I am doing now - I restored a 1956 Chevy. I like all American Classics. Thanks for the nice responses. I am sure that everyone will be helpful.
Tom
Welcome! Earl is correct there's a lot of great people in hear who have really helped me out in the past and have been supportive throughout my projects. I was also wondering about the cross member question? LOL... So, I'll just give a dig here. I thought at first the nickname was appropriate, because most Chevy's I know run on tri cylinders. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Tom, welcome to the BEST site on the web. No where else can you go for great advice, ideas, bewilderment and a good ribbing as well. I hope that you may even get your question answered soon. As far as your handle, what the heck were you thinkin man??? Consider a change now that you are only 4 posts deep. I love TriFives and GTO's ( PS: EL Cabron means "The Goat") but I disguised it just for this forum. I am "SpeedyBelair" on the GM Sites. See where I'm going??.See you when you return the the FORD site. Again, Welcome..
