Where have you mounted gauges that you have added? I want to add a pyrometer and a transmission temperature gauge. I have seen the pillar mounts and I have seen gauges mounted in the dash to the left and right sides of the instrument panel. Are there any other options?
Do you find that the A-pillar mounting blocks your vision to the left front corner of the truck? I have problems enough seeing around the grab handle and I don't want to completely loose vision toward that fender.
Also, recently, somebody posted a picture here with a gauge mounted on either side of the steering column. I was hoping to see that again.
I have pictures in my gallery of the pillar and steering mounted one. Lose the grab handle and you do not notice the A-Pillar at all.....and line of sight is important to keep an eye on gauges instead of looking down.
The steering column mount will partially block your view something on the '05's.
I went with a single gauge mount for the pyro since the '05 has an indicator, fits under the grab handle, looks really nice. Put a green LED in the gauge which comes close to the greenish glow of the instrument panel at night.
