I feel strongly about buying and using a donor for parts. I have a wonderful memory but can't remember where I put it on many days. Because I bought and used a 76 donor for everything, I can go to any parts house and order 76 parts. Part out several trucks, help friends with their upgrade, or have more that one project truck and the water gets cloudy real quick.

I wish I knew, they look like maybe for brake warning light. PO had lots of dead end wires that I will be chasing down over the summer.
I agree with John that a donor truck would be great, but I don't have room in the garage for anything bigger than my Motorcycle and tool benches. Just no place to keep one. The parts I bought were new and so I new that they were good, and only cost me $165, much cheaper than a donor car and easier to store.
FEracing66, What I had to do was really easy (except for bleeding the brakes by my self) but I couldn't tell you what other parts would be needed for a switch over from stock. FWIW, I came across 2 part houses (Schucks & Napa) that both list a 66 power booster master cylinder combo, I didn't think that Power brakes were offered then.
