Paint problem
I bought my 2002 F150 at the end of January. I'm finally getting around to washing and waxing it proper. There are few marks on the paint, but when I got in the bed to wash the top, i found that the 'gutters' on each side of the cab have cracks running the length of them.
The truck is out of warranty, but only has 22k miles.
Anyone else have this problem? I'm pretty sure the dealer won't fix it, but I"ll try.

Has it gotten any worse through the years of ownership? I'm just picturing the GM cars of the 80's where huge sections of paint randomly peeled off. If it's not going to get any worse I could probably get a tube of touch up paint and go over it. Not like you can see it...but now that I know it's there it's gonna rub on me until I get it fixed.

I found mine 2 weeks after i bought it. I put a very thin bead of clear silicone then went over it with touch up paint after it dried. I never did notice any leaking and haven't since. Don't know if it even needed the silicone either...but wanted to make sure.
