Poor Brakes
I recently purchased a 94' F-150 XL shortbed, and i'm having a problem with my brakes. The pedal goes almost all the way to the floor before i have any brakes. It needed new brake shoes so i replaced them and bled the lines, but the problem remains. Also, Ive heard about the RABS system, but how do i tell if my truck is equipped, and if it is how do i go about bleeding the lines? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

After you installed the new brake shoes (did you change the front pads or just the rear shoes?), did you adjust them out to the drums using the adjusting stars? Does your parking brake engage and hold or does it go all the way to the floor - a good way of telling if the back brakes need adjusting. Also, if the peddle sinks to the floor after the brakes engage or while you are stopped, you may have a bad master cylinder.
