can someone explain the ****** pickups to me - are they a modification of the 40/41 guards and a different grill or are they a different beast all together

Andrew, A ****** is a different beast altogether, ever heard of a ****** Jeep? These things came out with a 4 cylinder motor, they became popular as 'gassers' on the dragstrip powered with Chrysler hemis etc. Stick with your Ford!!! Brian

yup know what a ****** jeep is but just curious - guess i'm showing my ignorance - just thought they were a change to the 40/41 fords - looked kinda like they had taken the headlights of the top of the guards and put em in the fenders and then bunged in a new grill - always thought those e series merc headlights would work well in fenders
my fords going slow - in the process of moving house and waiting for bits from the states - so am confined to working on the motor
