paint troubles
I had my 1986 FORD F-150 painted about 2 yearsd ago with a BASE COAT CLEAR COAT and I have troubles with spots and stains from bugs. If it rains and sits out in the sun and dries even for a day it gets these spots whick looks like go deep in the clear coat and it very hard to rub out even with wax. If bugs hit the paint and stays on just for a day it leaves very very hard spots which wax wont hardly remove with rubbing till your hand goes numb.
does anyone have any reasons what causes this.....bad paint maybe?

It could also be that the painter didn't put enough hardener in the clear. If you wanted to, you could try taking it back to the shop that did the work and see if they will honor any warranty. If not, the next best thing would be to have them sand off the clear and apply another clear coat.
