Question Brake controller mounting in van

I have a 2004 E350 and I just got a Brakesmart controller for it. Now I need to find a good place to mount it. I posted in the van forum and no one has replied so I thought I would try here in the towing forum. I noticed that the F series people mount their controllers in a cubby under the stereo but the vans don't have a cubby. Does anyone here have any ideas? The pigtail to the factory wiring is only about 2 feet long so I don't have many options unless I splice in more wire.

Make sure you mount it so you can get to the manual lever easily; if you ever need to "jerk" a trailer back straight when it starts swaying, you don't want to be fumbling around trying to find it (don't ask how I know this! ).
