side pipes
Anybody know what the laws are about side pipes? My muffler keeps cracking and i think its cuz the exhaust pipe is being held funny by the bracket holding up the back of the pipe. Ive had the muffler welded three times and it just breaks again in a few months. The thing sounds like a tank! So i thought i'd cut out the rear cat, put on a new glasspack muffler, and have the pipe stick right in front of the rear tire so there's less hanging and therefore less stress. I know how to do it all, but i need to know if theres any laws, especially in utah, about side pipes. Anybody know???
