Sway bar install question
Hi guys,
well after reading imlowr's post on burning out, I got some inspiration to get back at it after almost a month of not working on my truck. I made a list of things to do, and first on the list was to install my sway bar. I got new parts, and put them on my powder coated sway bar. Now Im a little confused.
I installed the end pieces with the new bushings, and everythings good there. The problem is that the retainer link bolts dont go up through the retainer bolt holes. They are almost an inch short of coming throught the top of the crossmember. Heres some pics of where the bolts should come through (I assume)
and heres the bottom:
Any suggestions? This was supposed to be simple, hahahaha!
thanks guys,
Rich

55,
I hope you get this figured out. I have to re-install mine soon...
Is it possible that you have it in upside down or swapped end for end? I haven't even looked at mine in awhile so I'm not sure what difference it would make.
