I need a 7.3 C6
Hey everybody, i'm looking to buy a c6 trans out of a 7.3 2wd to swap out for mine. My trans will not shift between first and second unless you let off the gas.

might be the switch on the injection pump holding it in gear. or the vacuum line is pinched somewhere. or the linkage adjustment is ferhoodled. OR the vacuum on the side of the trans is goofy.

the switch is on the driver side of the pump. you should have 16-19 lbs vaccume on the bottom port at idle, and when you rev the motor, it should drop to under 5 lbs. if you have no vaccume, the switch is probably bad.
