Old unopened brake fluid.

Old unopened brake fluid.
I will be doing a brake job and have some 3 year old brake fluid (DOT 3). It is unopened and kept in the garage. It is in a plastic container with seal. Is it still good to use?

Brake fluid absorbes water if not sealed and will contaminate the fluid. If it has never been opened it should be fine. Also read the owners manual to make sure it is the right specs.
