Power window conversion???
Ok so if you hear the motor turning but the glass dont want to up without you helping it along, you will need to replace the three little torque pins (I think thats what Ford calls them) in the gear side of the motor.
First you will need to remove the door panel for access to the motor. The motor is held on with three small bolts......you will have very easy access to one, but the other two will *look* like they will be a PIA. They are not.......if you look close at the door you will see two spots where Ford has already made what looks like a center punch directly over the head of the two bolts that looked hard to get at. You will need to drill two holes at these spots, and get in there with a socket, and remove the bolts. Once you have the motor out, you will see three screws holding a cover on over the gear. remove the cover, and clean out all the busted plastic pieces of the broken torque pins. You can find these pins in the HELP! section, or just fab up your own using dowel pins.....they are on ebay once in a while as part of a kit that will also replace the inner gear. Now grease the gear area well, and install the three pins and then fit the gear back down over them.......bolt everything back and reinstall the motor. I would also grease and or clean anything inside the door that could use some TLC.
If you can not hear the motor turning when you hit the button, pull the motor out the way I described above and then test it with a known good 12V source.......if it dont move its bad, if it does move.....then it could be your switch, or a short, or a fuse.....then you will need to do some checking.
My bet is the torque pins........I have done many of them.
