351w dist. differences
I'm trying to swap a EEC dist. system with the duraspark II system . I have noticed that the length of the dist. shaft from the cam gear down is about 3/4" longer on the EEC dist.,however, the oil pump driveshaft still sits about .45" up inside of the end of dist.shaft on the duraspark II. My question is, is .45" enough of a " bite" on the oil pump shaft for it to function properly? Thanks,Alan
