80-90 frames?
have an 88 bronco and want to put it on an 85 frame. reason being my current frame is creaking and what not so probably crossmembers loose. so im thinkin of getting this earlier frame and cleaning it up painting it and swapping my body onto it. i like this route because this other frame is from an unmolested bronco so is tight hopefully but will be gone over anyways... also i am going to do a sas conversion and motor/tranny swap at the same time... so is it true these frames are the same? only difference i could find is front bumper mount issues anyone know what this is about as well? tia

The frames should be exactly the same other than the fuel filter and in your case the high pressure pump and resovoir mounting plates. I think those can be bolted on though. The bumper mounts are what is diffrent, it should not be the frame, the bumpers all mount to the same location. At worst probably just a bracket.

The frames are idenical and you already have the bumper brackets from your 88.
When you go to remove the front bumper they attach to the side of the frame rail instead of the front part lay under the front and look at it closely you'll see what im saying.
