OBD II Reader--will it work?

I have chance to by a sensor tester and a obd II reader but I don't know if it'll work on my 97 4.6 triton ,any info would be appreciated.I know this may be a stupid question to some of you but I'm still a little green on some of this Ford stuff--thanks

If it is indeed an OBD-II scanner, there is no reason that it won't work just fine.
