Thus far the site responce for the regions is mixed at best. I also posted this in the Chapter Leader forum to gage their thoughts, again, mixed results.
I'll continue to see what the official policy is and IF we can really do this without the Chapter being "locked" or something.
With Illinois being ssssssssssssoooooooooo long top to bottom is it a very long and expensive (gas prices) drive now.
I'll keep everyone posted, express your thoughts as well.

My Chicagoland comment was meant to be a joke, not a complaint about the idea. Actually, with the distance involved I think splitting the North from the South is a good idea. The split line should be something easily defined. Like Interstate 80, or Interstate 74. Something clear, but not restrictive. If someone north of the line wants to be part of the South, we shouldn't make them stay with the North.
I agree 100% with allowing someone near the middle of the state deciding which chapter they wish to stay as, I only ask that they do not hop the fence so to speak. I-74 looks like it splits the State pretty good and that area would be a good south and north meeting place once we get this all set up. I am hoping to get some more ideals and names of ppl who are down here by me in Belleville. HEY SOUTHERN BOYS!!!, If you got your ears on let me hear ya.
Kick but ideal Ron!!!!
Thanks for the support guys, I hope I do a good job.

With the news that Fastronald will be stepping down as Chapter leader, I would like to nominate Fairmontman for the Chapter leader position. Fairmontman has a good knowledge of Ford trucks, and I think he would make a good leader.
