Just to clarify with my buddies, International is the manufacturer of the 7.3 right? Someone was trying to tell me CAT made them.

OH BTW Cat does have a small V8 diesel ( 3208 ) and did use them in the F600 and up trucks ' but not the PUs. I drove a Ford Louisville back in the '70s that had the 3208 and that truck could knock down 11 to 12 mpg running 65 , loaded !

Might wanna tell your friend to hit the books to get his facts straight! Maybe he just WISHES that CAT was the producer of the PSD!

maybe your freind is confused.... lots of rumors of a CAT diesel in the PSD's of the future... maybe he misunderstood what someone was talking about...
