Need some info.
My son told me a guy a couple of blockes over has a 351 with an auto tranny with a 9 inch positrack he'll let me have. Just have to take it out myself.Its a 72 maybe 73 lincoln. IJust wondering if anyone knows how I can tell its a positrack.What came in a lincoln.

Look for the tag on the rear. It will be on one of the studs holding the center chuck into the housing if it's still there. It will probably start with "WGB-AC" or something similar. The lower line will have the ratio at the left side, such as " 2L75" if it's a posi and just 2.75 or similar number if it's a regular unit. Post them here and they can be deciphered for you.
