Can Spark Plug Wires Be Touching,together Or Will This Effect Anything If They Are Touching Together. Just Trying To Clear Something Up.

 

On an engine with the
1 5 4 6 3 2 7 8 firing orders the #7 wire & the #8 wire should be separated by the plastic spacers mid-harness & on the valve cover.


On the valve cover seperator they should be from front to back #5 #7 # 6 #8

Reason:
Once wires go bad they can arc over & create a cross-firing engine.
