Transmission Problem
I have a 1990 Bronco with the E4OD, Problem is as
follows: At 55mph, Straight and level driving.....sometimes will seem like the tranny spins free. RPM goes up to about 4000, Then I let off the accelerator and it re engages all in about 5 seconds. Have had a similar problem at 35 to 40 mph. RPM,s not as high though
My transmission guy looked at it and really
can;t figure it out.
We did replace the shift pack , but problem is still there.
I don't want to be a part replacer. This has been going on about 9 months and is not consistent, however lately seems like it is happening more. Thanks for your help.
