Pulsating air intake
Hello everyone. I have a problem. Well it's more of an annoyance then a problem. I recently installed a K&N FIPK on my 01' Expy AWD 4.6L and it seem that every time the rpm is 3000 or higher the intake sound like it's pulsating. I read somewhere that the IAC is suppose to open at higher revs to help with high air flow or something like that. I don't know if the IAC is not working properly. I have a stock exhaust system still, maybe the exhaust is not "free" enough for the FIPK. OR if this is normal and I just couldn't hear it through the stock intake
(Since the K&N is louder). It does feel like I do not have alot of power when this happens.
