Rear Gate... flew open!!!
Okay, my wife drives the explorer- almost exclusively, accept when we go on a road trip- and she told me that the rear gate came open while she was driving down the road. No major bumps, the road was paved, in town. This has only happened one time-so far. Has anyone heard of this happening (I remember the Dodge Caravan, or some mini-van had a similar prob)? No damage was done to the 'sploder, and she didn't have any cargo in the rear, so nothing was lost. We have been known to travel with our dog back there, though...
