Anyone know if the harmonic balancer is the same for a '79, and '86 351W?
For what it's worth, the casting marking inside the '79 says "351 WCP 2O", and the '86 says "351 WCP 3X".
Thanks,
Munrow

Just finished looking at both Autozone and AdvanceAutoParts online. Both list a different part# for each engine. Googled the part# listed for the '79 (Dorman 594-083) and found a website that shows 75-81 as that part# and 82-97 as a different (Dorman 594-011) part#. Went back to auto sites and that was the # they listed for the '86, also. That sound right?
What'll happen if I use the '86 one long enough to go to the parts store?
Thanks,
Munrow
