my old man figures we will get more money if we part it out. personally i dont think so but what can you do? everything on the bronco is going except frame and axles now, they are already sold.

parts

I would say that you could get way more parting out as opposed to selling it as a unit. You just need to find the right audience/buyers...You live in WI?

Are the body parts new? Or did it just get repainted? Rust has a bad way of rearing it's ugly head. You can either try to sell the parts on a board like this or try E-bay.

Something wrong with the engine?

yeah im from wisconsin, and theres nothing wrong with the motor , we stuck 2500 into it and so much more into the rest of the bronco and me and my dad just stopped and never finished it. now he wants to buy a new 4 wheeler so im stuck with getting rid of it.the body was cut and the rear panels had the new fenders welded in off broncograveyard.com. then it was painted. the painter told me it should last about 7 years because he undercoated it all and some other special stuff i forget the name of. i think he just didnt do the greatest of a job cleaning up the seam where its got rust
theres 3,000 maybe a little less on the motor and about 300 miles on the tranny.

That's too bad! It sounds like you had a good thing going! If you've stuck that much into it...why sell it? Sounds like it is pretty much complete?

well it was pretty much complete, but then i sold it to my dad and bought a 93 f-150. then i took the lift and tires off and put them on my truck so now its just a stock bronco with exception to the motor. but back to the original question, what is a body like that worth to people these days?

You could get more than that...if the doors and tailgate are in good shape you could get:

1) $70-100 per door
2) $125-150 for tailgate
3) $50-60 per fron fender

Complete I would say around $500? It might be tough finding someone who wants an entire body...

Dang! Wish I could get parts that cheap here in Indy. They want $150 for a good hood, $100 for a front bumper, and $200 for a good tailgate.

my shop attic is full of spare parts i find old fords sitting and can usually get them pretty cheap i strip the good parts off and scrap the rest. Just bought a 79 bronco with 48k on it. it has a snow plow in great shape. came fom the old army depot. paid 500 dollars for the works. 400 with granny low 4 speed plan on using it as a hunting vehicle paint is faded but body and drivetrain is in good shape
