trans temp gauge installation
I'm in the process of installing a tranmission temp gauge in a 2000 ford 250 V-10 and need to find a hot wire that is hot when the ing. is on only. Has anyone done a simmilar install and can point me to the best place to tap in to a hot 12v wire

Remove to access panel below the steering column and just to the right there is a bundle of wires. The one with the shrink tub on the end ( blue with a pink strip on mine) is hot only when the ignition is on. It is fused with a 10 amp fuse marked customer access.
