Do your gauges flicker when.....
Just after I start my engine and the after glow cycling starts my gauges tend to flicker until the after glow comes off. Is this normal? My charging system is also the craps. What are you guys charging at? At idle I charge at 13.1 and at higher rpm's I charge at 13.9. I've rigged up my own separate wiring harness to rule out the factory harness and it makes no difference in my readings. It also has a new regulator. And I've tried my spare alternator. I just can't get it to charge over 14 volts.
