We need to know a little more about the truck. Like what engine, for starters. Ford was still making carbed motors in '87. How long has the truck been sitting? Did it start fine up until one day where it just wouldn't start suddenly? When's the last time it had a tune-up?
Tell us exactly what happens when you try to start it. Does it click? Does the motor turn over?
the truck is fuel injected and the truck will turn over but not crank up unless i pour gas in the intake hose. the day before i went to get the truck it ran fine but the day i went to get it we got there and it wouldnt crank we later found out the fuel pumps wasnt working and ive already checked the inertia switch
well could someone tell me atleast why when i ground the fuel pump lead the truck still will not run this is gett really aggervating someone plzzzz help ps the pumps r pumping gas thru the inline fuel filter when i ground the test wire
