The "old ones" expire today, May 2. Any input on what Ford will offer for this summer? "Pedal to the metal" time with some serious rebate numbers or more of the same?
I'm sure Jeff and/or I will post 'em up as we get info. A lot of this depends what GM does- they've been throwing some huge money at product, and Ford's been forced to follow.
Looking at Fords website the incentives on the page are no longer there. Are we in the standoff time now waiting for Chevrolet to show what they are gonna do first?
Will it be today?
$1040- All new 2005-Model F-150 SuperCab STX (Must have Body Code X14, PEP Code 503A and Option Codes XB6 & 18E & 586 & 595) how'd they come up with that number?
$1500 Explorer "non-package" bonus cash (excludes "Sun and Sport," Luxury Value Pks units)
If you look at the Ford website they still list the ($2,500 + $1,000 = $3,500) incentives. You're stating they REDUCED these to $1,040 on the F-150? Greenspan just raised Fed Funds rate another .25% today. The prime rate could be around 7% by years end. Which does NOT bode to well for retail sales no matter what sector one is talking about in that arena. My point is things are "tightening up" in our economy with SLOWER growth and HIGHER inflation. A "double edged sword" to say the least. I think Ford should get MORE aggressive NOT less regarding incentives. Why? It ain't going to get much better for the rest of 05' economically speaking.
The $1040 polarbear mentioned is IN ADDITION to the $2000 Ford/ $1000 Ford Credit rebate, for a total of $4040. BUT- it's only good in certain regions, the $1040 is not a nationwide program. Also, it's only good when the moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Not only will you have a great deal, but "peace will rule the planets, and love will guide the stars!"
