transmission gauge

I installed the EGT and BOOT gauge last night. I was unable to install the Tranns temp. The plug on the Tranns is too small for the sensor I have. I bought the Auto MEter 2615. Does anyone know a guage that looks simular and will have the plug that goes right in?

PS. Before anyone (You know you will) brings it up YES! I did look on Motor Heaven first. I have bought other items from them but did not find there gauges to my liking.

If no one knows of a plug and play gauge then maybe a way to make this one work? It does not have the seperate Temp sendor it has a heavy cable going to the sensor.

Here is a picture of it.

That is a mechanical gauge; for what you are doing you need an electrical. They make the Z-series tranny temp gauge in an electrical gauge also, this is what you need. The heavy cable is actually a fluid line; I would find this setup very questionable for what you are doing. Send it back and order another, IMO. If you are bent on keeping the one you have, you will need an adapter- 1/2 NPT female to 1/8 NPT male.
