Question Catback exhaust...
Got a 2003 F150 Extended cab with the 4.2 Six. Any catback systems that will make it sound good?

Dual preferred....thanks.

You might try the exhaust forum. Flowmaster seems to be the most popular. That's what I use on 4 of my vehicles.

I hate to sound negative, but probably not. It's a 6 cylinder truck engine, it's just not going to have that nice rich v-8 sound no matter what kind of exhaust you put on it. You're better off just leaving it stock.

I had a gibson exhaust on my 6 banger ranger before i sold it, it sounded pretty good, i though-nice little rumble at idle and screamed when revved.

I say Flowmaster. I like Gibson headers but prefer the Flowmaster for the mufflers.

Yup like he said though your not going to get that sound of a V8 out of the V6.
