allright guys, i cant take it anymore, one of the bolts that connects the manifold ( i think that's what it is ) to the y pipe has broken off, and it is very very annoying. but the problem is, is that it brok in half, so half of it is still there.
i put a picture in my gallery, so take a look at waht im talking about please!
i am to the point were if i cant fix it ( any ideas on how to fix it? ) i will take it in, but if it comes to that, how much would it cost to get done? thanks guys!
If you can heat it up with a cutting torch you can get them out. If you can't get a torch on it you may have to remove the manifold. Almost any exhaust shop should be able to get it out and a new one put in.

You might also investigate the cost of a used manifold from a junkyard. 4.0's are very abundant. Compare the price against taking the manifold to a shop.
aiight, i will look into that but isnt an exhaust manifold hard to change?
and how do i get hte bolt out once i heat it up??
i tried b4 but it's very tight in there and we got it red hot and still couldnt.
ya need to get in there with a grinder and grind the top and bottom off of the old bolt..then get in there with a drill or right angle drill and drill a new hole thru it for a new bolt. If you do drill it out..use lots of oil to keep the bit sharp and cutting. I had to do the same to mine at one time..but i was able to successfully unbolt the manifold from the block.
allright well something sort of weird happened. me and my friend were looking at the exhaust and we wanted to make sure that that was were the noise was coming from so we put a small c-clamp on it and tightened it up and started it, well that verified that that's were the noise was coming from, so i took the c-clamp up and started it up and my truck sounds normal! woo hoo! i dont know how long it will last but atleast i know how to make it sound better.
