Navistar.....decoded VIN
Hello everyone. Just for fun I decided to decode the VIn number of my 1999 PSD. All of the information was correct, but I am looking for a definition of one part of the VIN. It is as follows:
"X21F" decodes as 7.3L D-Turbo-DI V-8 Navistar.
This is what I would like to know:
What is Turbo-DI?
And what is Navistar?

exactly. Turbocharged Direct Injection, and the maker of our fine motors is Navistar International. same as the big boys. go to any Navistar international parts dealer, and you can find parts for you motor, just tell them its for the T444E Powerstroke.
