Check out our 3 inch down pipe, it has an extra "kick" in the cobra head design that makes it lots easier to install and you don't have to bend up the firewall anywhere near as much, plus we have a cat test pipe that connects right up to the rest of your stock system if you want that as well. Our pipe is a little more expensive, but that's because of the extra labor in the cobra head design. We also have 3 to 4 inch complete systems in aluminized and 409 stainelss if you are interested in one of those. Give us a call if you have any questions etc.
I have a 4 inch downpipe adapted to a 5 inch straight pipe and is actually very easy to do yourself if you weld. It took a 20 ft stick of 5 inch pipe 2ea 45 elbows and one 90 elbow to get over the axle. Everything fit real easy with plenty of clearence. My truck is a crewcab thats why it took a long length of pipe. It was a straight shot from the downpipe to the rear axle and the elbows took care of the rest.
