Truck freaking out
im posting this hoping that someone could help me out. i have a 97 F150 Xl (V6 4.2 liter) and lately its been freaking out. i was drivin one day to a friends house and all of a sudden the lights from steering wheel go out. i thought it could have just been a bulb or something then i come to find out that the cruise control dont work. i didnt mind this cuz i really dont use the cruise control. the next day as i am drivin, the wipers turn on automatically and they are goin pretty fast. i finally figured out a way to turn them off everytime they come on. i thought this was it, but im also havn problems with the air con. everytime i accerlate more then 40 mph, the air con stays on but instead of throwin the air foward..it throws it back towards the front window. i went to have it checked out and the guy wanted to charge me an arm and a leg so i didnt get it fixed. i also contacted the ford dealership after i found out about the recall bu they came out with some sort of excuse and told me that it couldnt be it. anyways..has anyone had this problem or can someone help. thanx

Just a thought, although it wouldn't have anything to do with where the air is coming out.....clock spring in the steering wheel. They are known to go out and will cause all sorts of wierd probs. with cruise, steering wheel lights, etc.
