Door Rattles
DOOR RATTLES ANYONE... Please help save me some time and trouble..I've got a 2001 F350 Super Duty,with 127,000..and I've got this rattle that sounds like Its comming from the drivers side doors. Any suggestions,Thanks,Dick

Does the rattle go mostly away with the window down & your arm on it?? I had a loose window track that was driving me nuts.. I have a hex bolt about 6" below my door latch that was loose. It looked tight until I put a wrench to it.. If that's the case, tighten with the window down & then carefully raise it.. You may have to raise/lower the window & adjust a few times until it doesn't bind & rattle..

mine rattles when I have the truck twisted going in and out of driveways, etc. and the body is flexing. 22,000 miles, started at about 2,000. adjusted the latches/strikers,
went away, but came back a few thousand miles later.... drives me nuts too
